Work Ensured began with a founder’s long-held idea for a new business. We worked directly with him to turn detailed requirements into a custom WordPress application, connecting project records, invitations, dashboards, forms, messaging, and payment workflows.
The project at a glance
Client: Work Ensured, a startup connecting businesses and customers around service projects.
Our role: Custom WordPress application design and development, with direct founder collaboration.
Project focus: Turn a detailed business concept into a connected, usable product.
Website: Visit Work Ensured.

Start by understanding how the business works
The founder knew what he wanted the product to do. Our first responsibility was to listen closely enough to understand how those requirements fit together. A list of individual features would not be enough: the application had to connect the people involved in a project and the actions they needed to take.
That distinction shaped the build. The public website introduces the idea, but the custom work continues into the application itself. A business and its customer need different starting points, and a project needs to retain its context as people move from one task to another.
Connect the workflow inside WordPress
We built around custom WordPress roles and project records, with Gravity Forms integrated into the workflow. Form submissions can feed the project structure instead of becoming isolated pieces of information. Invitations connect people to the relevant work, and purpose-built dashboards give them a place to return to it.
Messaging and payment-related workflows sit alongside that project structure. The technical challenge was the relationship between these pieces: a form, invitation, dashboard, and conversation all need to refer to the appropriate project. The interface and the underlying WordPress functionality were developed around that connected experience.
The detail we’re proud of
This project put listening and implementation side by side. Translating the founder’s specification into working screens and connected functionality meant staying close to the original idea while solving the practical details of the build. We are especially proud of helping a long-planned business move from a concept into a website and application.
What we delivered
The finished build brings a public-facing business website and custom project workflows into the same WordPress platform. It demonstrates the application development we can take on when a project needs more than service pages and a contact form.
