Chris Temple gave us broad creative freedom with his yoga website. We used that opportunity to develop a custom experience in which color, movement, navigation, and content follow the same idea: a page organized around the chakras.

Carry one concept through the whole experience
Kolten’s own interest in yoga made this a particularly enjoyable design project. Each main section relates to a chakra. Its content, accent color, and place in the navigation follow that theme, creating a connection between the subject matter and the way the page is presented.
This gave us a direction for more than surface decoration. The idea helped organize the site: the sections belong together, while their individual colors and content give each one its own character. A visitor moving through the page encounters different parts of the same concept.
Make the navigation part of the design
The menu in the upper-right corner takes the shape of a hamsa hand. That custom detail is one of our favorite parts of the project because it brings the visual concept into a small, frequently used element of the interface.
A custom navigation system connects the chakra-inspired sections. The site presents its main content as a one-page experience, with slide-out areas revealing additional material. This lets the interface open up as someone explores, while the main page remains the central point of reference.
Use movement to complete the presentation
Custom scrolling animations are another defining part of the design. Color and layout establish the visual character in a still image, but the transitions and moving elements are best understood by watching the showcase video or exploring the website.
The interaction work was part of the custom build, alongside the section structure and navigation. We enjoyed the opportunity to think through both what the website looks like and how it changes as a visitor moves through it.
What we delivered
Chris Temple Yoga is a cohesive custom website with a chakra-inspired structure, a hamsa-shaped menu, slide-out content, and bespoke animation. The project shows what can happen when a client gives us room to develop an idea across the entire interface. It is especially representative of the detailed, expressive design work we enjoy.
